Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Corporate – NYC, New York
Department Corporate
Employment Type Full-Time
Minimum Experience Mid-level

At Paige.AI we are building an artificial intelligence that will revolutionize the clinical diagnosis and treatment of cancer.  Our team comprises PhDs with expertise in deep learning, software engineers and high-performance computation experts.

This is a rare and very exciting opportunity for an administrative expert to join a startup.  You'd be joining our core team in the early stages of its formation and will be key to our success as we continue to grow.

Our open plan office is part of the Cornell Tech Campus on Roosevelt Island, and has incredible views of Manhattan.  We offer excellent benefits, including 401(k), health insurance and free lunch.  On non-client contact days you can dress casually.  We also have regular social activities - but you'll know all about that, since you'll be the one organizing them!

You'll also be:

  • Providing administrative support to the team, including calendar management for our executive team.
  • Arranging for and hosting visits to our office by stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Managing our team-building events.
  • Working with our PR and media consultants to drive day-to-day publicity efforts.  This includes looking after our Twitter profile and ordering of promotional materials.
  • Providing logistical support for video and photo crews.
  • Project managing our marketing materials for conferences.

... We're a startup, where everyone pitches in to get the job done.  You need to be the kind of person who's happy to step in to complete tasks that are outside of the above list.  There's substantial opportunity to add to your skillset in this position, where you'll grow and learn every day in a supportive setting.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least two years' calendar management experience.
  • Have demonstrated capacity to autonomously work in fluid, dynamic settings.
  • Have worked in multiple corporate settings previously.
  • Have a demonstrated ability in finding innovative solutions to problems.
  • Have exceptional communication skills.
